Todays Worldle

Very tough today I'm surprised anyone can do it
The distances are sometimes more helpful than the outlines so unless you know it straight away, best make you first guess somewhere central. Guessing, say, tonga first off will be useless as practically every other country is west and north of it

Didn't get it :(

What do the arrows represent? Is it the direction away from the previous guess? i.e [target country] is SW from last guess?

Yes it is. so it should point you closer towards the country. Although I have noticed the "diagonals" are very generous. I have seen countries marked as north west of where I guessed and I would have said some were clear north and some were clear west. But it gives you a rough guide.

basic fault is that there are a v limited number of possible answers and a lot of 'territories' most ppl won't have heard of, so not as good as nerdle and wordle imho

200 isn't that limited. Not for this year at least. And I've heard of all the territories so far, not exactly hard if you have even a basic graps of geography. Fun though.

It's no geoguessr "All the wetherspoons" map but still...

Got three of the neighbouring countries today but ran out before the main event :(

It reminds me of the University Challenge geography round - which I love but am infuriatingly rubbish at ha.
