Today's Tory sleaze scandal #2

Hancock having a nightmare there. Corruption in plain sight and doesn’t even acknowledge they should be asked important questions around their corrupt behaviour.

This will not end well for the Tories, not in the medium to long term anyway. They’ll keep pulling the wool for a while yet but when it stars to go belly up it will do so spectacularly given that they don’t even attempt to hide their corruption anymore.

"Look over there, a squirrel..."

Deflection at its finest. At least deny all knowledge or wrong doing. It is worrying that this is now in plain sight.

You will talk about what want you to talk about not what you want to talk about

That clip is dreadful to be fair - we can be corrupt because we are doing well on the vaccination programme.

and to make matters worse he quotes some unknown guy from Middlesbrough!!

Ha ha no I don't live in Middlesbrough. Not sure what Hancock was doing campaigning in the Boro mind as there were no local elections going on. I'd take anything he says as a lie.

Johnson seems to want everyone to bail him out financially and it's not a good look for Hancock to be defending that.
The defence offered just made matters worse! Dreadful response!

Can be corrupt as they want because bob from the boro says its ok

He seems to have given a different reason to Sky than to the BBC as to why Pakistan was put on the red list in early April and not India at the same time - Sky, a greater proportion of people coming from Pakistan to the UK were positive than those coming from India; BBC - India had a higher number of positives in its population than Pakistan as it carried out more tests.

I might be completely wrong here, but I seem to remember the Government changing the vaccination approach following an intervention from Tony Blair. Wasn't the plan to vaccinate with both jabs before moving on to the next age group? Blair argued very publicly about pushing ahead with the first jab for all as a priority.
