What do you think of Brewdog? I’ve had a few of there beers and it’s nice stuff, but I’m shocked how many bars they have popping up all over the place, more so given the price of a pint in one of said establishments, talking £6 for a pint of lager and a tenner for a burger, not including chips!

They must have some business model

They must have done business model

I was in the Newcastle one a couple of years ago, not impressed at the price or the taste, everything was served far too cold. People must have far more money than sense who use them regularly

I was in there yesterday with a friend, only popped in so he could grab a few 330ml cans to take out as he’s a beer snob. He bought 4 330ml beers, he got 15% off daytime deal I think it was, plus an additional 7.5% off for having a stock in the company or something. Guess how much 4 little stubbies cost him with 22.5% discount...

£14.66

🤮🤮

What I find strange is that people will pay these prices for Brewdog etc and also go to places in London and York paying exhorbitant prices yet balk at paying what they consider over price when back in Boro.

One in my neighbourhood here in São Paulo (the only one in the city) - up to £8 a pint. As a comparison, Goose Island (foreign as well, but they do brew on site) £6, local craft beers (a big thing here) £3 to £4; and the bog standard local £2 ish. The Brewdog has been there 3 or 4 years, don't know how it does it, but looks to be going strong. It even has valet parking!

Not keen on them - they don't do any cask for a start. They now have a brewery here in the States, but I've not tried it here.

I’m a fan, although I’m no beer snob. I can usually only have a couple before I need to go back to something more lager like.
That said, I like their ethos and the whole ‘equity-punk’ thing.
Punk IPA and their gluten free one, Vagabond, both get thumbs up from me 👍

I like the Elvis Juice one they do. It’s Grapefruit flavoured I think.....no honestly it’s nice.
