Wish you and your families happiness and health in 2021. Tough few months ahead and then hopefully the rest of the year will be the best yet. I’ve got so much to look forward to with my 1st baby being due in January and would just like to say thanks to every single poster on this board. It’s a pleasure to be a part of it and a part of my life that I don’t think I could live without now.

It feels weird being this close to midnight and being sober. I feel I should rectify that although heavy drinking with just 2 of you in the house just doesn't feel right!

Anyway happy new year to one and all. Have a great 2021

It’s a strange one isn’t it! I am having my first drink now but as you say it’s strange drinking with just 2 as I’m more a social drinker. Especially when my partner is pregnant and she can’t drink! Oh well, it is what it is! I will get smashed on my own 😂

Thank god we‘re out of 2020, although personally it was better than 2019 (so how f*****g grim was that!!) Let’s just look forward to things getting to normal and then being great 👍

got my glass filled and just sitting down to watch The Hurt Locker, never seen it. Cheers all 🍻
 
I’m with the OP (except the baby bit, but maybe I’ll look forward to hopefully getting a new home and being back on my feet again).

PS. Block, being a dad is the best and most rewarding thing you’ll ever do. You’ll never have felt love flow through you like you will when the little one arrives (and that’s no disrespect to your partner). It’s so awesome there are no words adequate! No need to be nervous, you’ll be great but don’t be too hard on yourself when you make mistakes - we all do. Give the little one your love and it’ll come back in spades. Best of luck and congratulations!
