In charge tomorrow.

He has refereed our two biggest away league defeats this season 😬

Luton 3-1 Boro
Sheff Utd 4-1 Boro

6 bookings in total for Boro, Crooksy booked in both games.

The omens are looking good 🤣

Apart from the obvious ref who supports Bournemouth I wonder if any refs don't like certain clubs or players and if some players don't like certain refs. I bet there are grudges galore floating around the EFL.

It's now been over a year since we had the dreaded Gavin Ward. Wonder how long it will be before they consider it safe for him to ref us again. Hopefully a very long time.

In the meantime, Millwall vs Hull on Monday has both Ward and the hopeless Dean Whitestone involved - my heart goes out to both teams.

Robbed again

People wonder why I’m such an advocate of VAR as these biased muppets give us nothing.

I hope Wilder has had a word. Totally ridiculous I can understand the Phillips one, but the other 2 were obvious

No guarantee VAR would have given them and that's the problem. On a normal weekend you'd still have Championship officials sat doing the video refereeing duties.
Officials still have to interpret the laws and until they all start doing it consistently then you'll always get decisions like that not being given.
When it was the law that the ball hitting the hand was a penalty it caused controversy and so it became a grey area again and down to the ref.

This is a worry

Michael O’Neill was shocked to see Morgan Fox sent off, was surprised to see Jordan Zemura then stay on, and frustrated Josh Maja – and then Taylor Harwood-Bellis – was not awarded a late penalty on a day of drama at Bournemouth.
