All against it and deal not reached but trying to put it on Burnham. Rumours they wanted £15m more - utterly shameful from the worst government in history. If it had been to hand over to someone corruptly the money is always found, when Joe public needs it they refuse. There’ll be many MPs booted out over this; the fact at 5pm he is going to impose restrictions is scandalous.

Given the circumstances of it all, I fully expect it to be largely ignored.

Coming out now deal broke down as the Government wouldn't budge over an extra £5m............yet how many billions have been syphoned off to their mates under the guises of PPE contract, track and trace etc etc etc.........? :(:(

Hopefully those who broke the Red Wall on the promise of "levelling up" remember this and all of the siphoning of funds.
This government are taking the **** out of the population and need removing on those grounds alone, regardless of how you think they are handling the pandemic.

100% agree. He was asked about the supposed £60m he offered and whether that was still being given. He was evasive and when asked again said they’ve already had £190m. W*nker.

An absolute disgrace and Johnson et al showing their true colours
This was about ‘beating’ Burnham and flexing muscles - nothing more. The good people of Manchester being ‘collateral damage’

A government who will blame Burnham for this and the EU brexit negotatiors for the other.
Inept, nasty selfish cnuts

It is criminal. I'm seething.
Only another 4 years of it....if they get voted in again you might as well never vote again. How anyone can justify supporting them any longer is ridiculous and what could they possibly have in common and they are complicit in allowing this lot to make decisions in their interest- I notice the slides for greater Manc were emphasised and showing incorrect data- it’s an utter joke that it’s gone to tier 3. Hancock said yesterday that once they relaxed the rules in Bolton the rate of infection went up (new flash for anyone- the restrictions in Bolton were never relaxed and have been the same for months).
