It seems their price structure has cost them as despite the hype rugby league isn’t a major sport so surely lower tickets are an incentive especially away from the M62.RLWC 2021

It says availability HIGH
I'm not particularly bothered how a stadium looks on TV, when did that become a thing? It seems their price structure has cost them as despite the hype rugby league isn’t a major sport so surely lower tickets are an incentive especially away from the M62.
Could be empty stadia not a good look
Shame.
£10 max would have been right
Or free for kids etc
I’m not talking about how our stadiums look I agree I don’t care either I meant it’s not a good for rugby league in their blue riband event to have empty stadia.I'm not particularly bothered how a stadium looks on TV, when did that become a thing?
I understand the rugby authorities wanting to spread the game but rugby league is played not far from here and I defect little interest locally in the sport, actually the same goes for rugby union and cricket when it comes to actually attending live games in the area.
No, they'll not be reaping the awards they expected. Happening all around the world, have you seen the cricket world cup stadia, they look lovely but there's nobody in them for most games?I’m not talking about how our stadiums look I agree I don’t care either I meant it’s not a good for rugby league in their blue riband event to have empty stadia.
I was at France Bulgaria at euro 96 in Newcastle as you say half full. No, they'll not be reaping the awards they expected. Happening all around the world, have you seen the cricket world cup stadia, they look lovely but there's nobody in them for most games?
When the FIFA World Cup came to Teesside it wasn't well backed either, I think we had under 14,000 for one of the games. That was expensive too at the time.
They probably expected more from West Yorkshire across to Hull travelling up for it but they will of been put off by the stupid prices as well.Gobsmacked at these prices.
Bit of an own goal.
Since when has Teesside been a rugby league stronghold ??
That is what people said in 1966 too.It seems their price structure has cost them as despite the hype rugby league isn’t a major sport so surely lower tickets are an incentive especially away from the M62.

We had the lowest crowds of 1966 - mind you people complained that we had the worst games and teams - look at how that how turned out. North Korea beating Italy was the biggest story of the World Cup outside of England's win.No, they'll not be reaping the awards they expected. Jedi - there are very few tickets available for £70 - and is a nuts price. Set by the Rugby League World Cup.That’s just nuts £70 really
The prices were the problem in 1966. The touts were trying to offload their tickets for half price when we arrived at the North Stand for the first game, they appeared to have plenty of them.We had the lowest crowds of 1966 - mind you people complained that we had the worst games and teams - look at how that how turned out.
