('I've said it before but our fitness in doubling up to win the ball back and break quickly is unbelievable....

Woodgate and his fitness team should be embarrassed to pay their players 5/10/15/20k+ per week.... Clayton, Tavernier and Assombalonga were a stone overweight and that was without noticing any of their other players. It told in the end that they couldn't even put us under pressure with a long ball as there was nobody up there to win the seconds!!

It is the bare minimum that ANY team should be able to do..'..) About sums it up!

Bang on.... they were blowing out of their arses after 60 mins, dunno what that Jimmy Bullard lookalike does as the fitness coach

In all fairness Leeds were either time wasting or utterly knackered after 55 mins - I presume it's knackered.

You can see how they throw away so many games - the way we played they should have won that 3-0 easy.

It's not our fitness (despite players like Moukoudi obviously being 2 clem overweight), it's our inability to pass and move. All we did was pass, dribble, stop, dribble, stop, pass backwards, repeat then lose the ball. We have lost the ability to quickly pass. Leeds would make 3 passes from midfield and have us in the 5h1t.

This 4-2-3-1 was a disaster too - Leeds exploited that big time.

Dreadful performance, Tav is dire, Woodgate can't see how bad we are so he can't change it. He's got the blinkers on.

We were saying the exact same thing last night. A few players look like they're overweight. Inexcusable at this stage of the season.

Clayton did look overweight to be fair. Tav is just slow. And I can’t be arsed talking about Assombalonga, can’t stand him.

The Leeds fan is correct (that’s probably the only time you will see me agree with anything to do with the awful club which is Leeds United).

Bielsa had a team which collectively gave a lot more than ours last night as did Luton in the last match.

I think fitness and attitude are strongly linked in professional players and Leeds played and fought as a team, they deserved the win for that alone.

Tav didn't do the simple things, Wing was non-existent. When we did get into their box we seemed to be running into each other and taking up other players spaces.

"Embarrassing and pitiful.
Taking into account the shambolic display at Elland road, one is starting to wonder if Woodgate is a Leeds fifth column. Team selection was baffling (Clayton and Friend needed putting out to grass three years ago) and the formation was asking for trouble. Only other explanation is Woodgate confused Leeds with real madrid.
The lack of any quality was particularly concerning. We got what we deserved and what I expected, absolutely nothing and barely created a chance.
Woodgate is a shockingly poor manager, compared to him the disasterous Bobby Murdoch look like the great Don Revie. Every day he avoids a P45 makes relegation a certainty. He should never have been given the job and, unless we want to play in the 3rd tier, that mistake has to be rectified without delay."

Tav looked like he was carrying a bit of weight around his stomach last night when he lifted his top up and Britt hasn't looked in shape for a long time.

Just sums up the general decline in standards at the football club.

Look at the points we’ve dropped late on all season and the link between our fitness levels becomes apparent, I’d have thought their weight would have been monitored and fines and additional training for those that were outside the acceptable range.

Weight monitored ? Perhaps the scales are broken ?
Or will the scales have fallen from Mr Gibson's eyes before Boro are too deeply entrenched in the relegation 3 ?

I came out of the Town Hall yesterday at about 12.45pm. The entire Leeds team were out on a walk and to a man they all looked as lean as whippets. I was quite surprised and thought they must be under a helluva fitness regime. After last night, it might be an idea to take a leaf out of their book.

THIS!! Post of the year, or any year. Absolute bang on! It is absolutely staggering that this charlatan is still in charge of this football club.
