Damn. I have some $400 worth of credit for theatre tickets (it was a discounted special at Christmas) that I doubt I'm going to be able to use. Along with tickets for Roger Waters that has been postponed to some future date. At least I may be able to sell those.
 
Did you read about the body border that dived to the seabed to rescue the unconscious cliff jumper. I see despite all the serious injuries and what happened with the helicopters herding people into close proximity people returned to jump off the arch the day after on the Sunday. Unbelievable.

If true that is so idiotic, what I've been saying all along & folk will still blame the government, these people are absolute idiots, what is wrong with some people, why is is always about them, always blame others yet they're happy to do as they please & if having difficulty someone will come to their aid, stupidity
 
that's the discussion erimus,

we know we have in the UK people as you described above, we all know, its a gimme, that's why emergency legislation was brought in to control movements and to allow the furloughed workers to be paid (80%) by us, the tax payer - as a control, to stop the spread - absolutely the right thing to do.

now we have a scenario where schools are being told to reopen, shops are open, parks are open, car sales rooms are open, so on and so on - and , after the reasoning presented by cummings and the Prime Minister that within the guidance you can do whats best for you given your own personal circumstances (certainly that's the message I got).

then to cover that scenario of above, the prime minister allows a further series of relaxations to the previous restrictions.

the big problem with this, is that we know we have rule breakers and we know people are losing money and incomes (so there is real genuine pressure), and opening that door ajar gives the opportunity for that new scenario to grow and fester, as we have seen for the past 2 weekends around our shorelines, country parks and tourist attractions.

in my humble view the Prime Minister should have stood firm - and maintained the mantra of people before profits, inorder to protect us ALL.

governments first job is to protect its people, ALL of its people - is that happening now ?

Johnson is throwing people's lives away to divert attention from Cummings. There is no other reason.

Quite simply he is not fit to be Prime Minister. But we knew this before the GE, we knew he was a serial liar, cheat, racist and chancer.

It pains me to point at Nicola Sturgeon and the way that with the same resources the management and communication have been embarrassingly better than Johnson and the Tories have managed. But it is true.

Oh and of course it is still about Brexit, that's why they are allowing the clock to tick down to zero, crash out without a deal is where the money is at for the speculators and sponsors. And even that doesn't matter, they just have to get close enough to it happening to make money hedging their bets. They literally cannot lose. Kerching! Sorry about the 100k dead, never mind that though, we have twice as many billionaires now! How cool is that...
 
Never understood the appeal of going to a crowded beach. There is much more room, and it is much cooler, in my front room. I can watch television, too.
