This day, or yesterday, or every 4 years - Middlesbrough = winners

Didn't get a ticket so couldn't go.... watched the match in a pub in Leek (missed the first goal, naturally)... and I really thought we would never win a major trophy
 
I couldnt get a ticket (well not for a sensible price), travelled down anyway with lads who had tickets and watched it in a pub close to the ground packed with boro, great atmosphere, was also able to drink during the game to calm my nerves.
 
What a day, what a weekend. What a journey. I’ve said it on here many times, at the final whistle me and the owld feller stared straight ahead, if we’d looked at each other we’d have been gone. A favourite memory.
 
Can’t see mfc ever being in the position to attract players of that calabre again , unless we have a takeover and massive massive cash injection.
and move the stadium further south of Birmingham.

In a way, it's better that we've only ever won one trophy as it means so much more to ours fans.

I doubt some City fans can even properly distinguish between their 5 League Cup wins in the last 7 years.

Obviously I'd prefer Boro to win stuff frequently, but the more you win the less it means.
