I was there!

I remember they paraded both championship trophies around the cinder track before the kick-off and Bernard Gent commenting over the tannoy that the 1st Division Championship trophy would be the next one that’s Boro won. If you ignore the minor Anglo Scottish Cup then he was right!

I attended - took my wife to her first pro-footy game. Stood in the Bob End to the right of the seats. All i'll say is I enjoyed the game - you've never heard whinging like it!
