Yes, I was jumping for joy when we signed him. I thought we were signing a real top drawer player. He was generally pants, which is why I have kept mine in the top drawer ever since.
 
PB was sent off away to Bury on the 6th January 1976 FAC 3rd round replay, Boro were leading that game 2-0 with goals from Peter Brine & a John Hickton penalty, ended up losing 3-2
