When Mark Proctor & with Mark Barham played in the game away to Wimbledon
Mark Proctor registered No591 signed from Sheff Utd only a few days earlier & making his 2nd debut when he was registered No520, Mark Braham a wide player was signed from Huddersfield earlier in the season but had to wait a while for his debut is registered at No592
Mark proctor went on to have a good 2nd spell at the Boro, whereas Mark Barham only started 3 games, plus one as sub then released in the summer
I went to this game, my only visit to Plough Lane where the Boro came away with a credible 1-1 draw in our fight against the eventual drop, Bernie, as usual, put us infront only for Wimbledon to force an equaliser
Mark Barham was the type of player I always wanted us to sign, a tricky winger in my eyes, but it never happened for him, I remember him playing against us for Brighton & scoring the only goal in a midweek match, I was at that game too
Bruce's team
Stephen Pears
Gary Parkinson
Colin Cooper
Tony Mowbray
Mark Proctor - 2nd debut
Gary Pallister
Bernie Slaven
Gary Gill
Stuart Ripley
Peter Davenport
Mark Barham - Debut
Sub
Alan Kernaghan
