One nil down, to win 2-1 & our 1st division future secure, well that was me after this excellent away win, I really thought we'd done enough & will get a couple of wins to rubber stamp our survival

Unfortunately it was our last win of the season & only our 3rd win that calendar year, we had an excellent team & a great team spirit which if we had survived would have gone on to bigger & better things, but tha was the Boro for ya

 
Broke my heart relegation that season, I know the table showed that we weren’t good enough but that team of heroes really didn’t deserve to relegated - only in the bottom three on the last day of the season.

That Chris Price injury time equalizer at Villa absolutely killed us - if we’d have held on it would have been them down instead of us.

They finished 2nd the following season too - who knows what would have happened if we’d stayed up!

Agree 100%, the table as you say has us, relegated but for me we didn't deserve to go down
