Didn't realise that either but on the old Boro letterheads I always used to laugh because it said Middlesbrough FC red shirts and white knickers

We had a 2 week break from league action and had just been beaten in the League Cup by Division 4 side Tranmere, I think Steve Vickers got the winner for them.

Bruce Rioch wasnt best pleased and made practically the first team play in that reserve game
