I was there that day & sat next to the Walsall striker, David Kelly, who signed for Newcastle in the summer

I must admit Erimus, I’m confused too.

The game was the last time we ever lost a 3rd division match.
We played another 14 games that season winning 11 and drawing 3 going back up and hopefully never to return.

That makes sense. So as you omitted the Division 3 bit I do understand the confusion Erimus.
 
Then wondering why Erimus could not simply have said that or corrected his post without getting stroppy!
Just caught up with this & didn't realise it was still running
A case of I coudnt see how it was wrong, even after I read it back & I've only just realised now, I didn't put in '3rd division' , sorry my mistake, apologies Michael

I remember in injury time Bernie taking a corner and I was thinking “What the hell are you doing taking corners? You should be in the box waiting for the corner to come over!”
