13th October 1984 the mighty Boro won away for the 1st time this season & the 1st time since beating Sheff Weds away 2-0 in December the previous season

Boro won 3-0 with goals from a Currie penalty, his 21st Boro career goal to date, his 6th of the season & Boro's 220th penalty since becoming a league club, Stephen Bell added the 2nd with his 13th Boro career goal & 1st of the season, David Mills scoring the third with his 5th goal of the season after the late, great Willie Mddren brought him back to the Boro, taking his Boro career goals to date to 99 goals (y)

Was at this game,Id go so far as to say it was best performance under WM. It was nice sunny day and we played them off the park. Carlisle away on my birthday was a good win too. Went to quite afew away games that season, like aYorkshire mini league. Big relief in Shropshire in the end, still remember the horror of Bradford.

You still look back at those days with fondness 👍
 
yeah, its wasnt great times but the game still had a certain amount of honesty in and around it. For a start virtually name the opposition team.:)
