Of 5 appearences, 4 league & one cup match, when Derby County arrived at Ayresome Park on the 9th April
It was the only game KB played in that the Boro lost, Derby winning 3-2, though KB was named as sub & came on late in the 2nd half to replace Joe Bolton who never played for the Boro again, he didn't start a game that the Boro lost, he was an exceptional signing by Malcolm Allison & even with one good leg he was an outstanding professional
Mick Kennedy (RIP) scored both of Boro's goals that day, one a penalty, it was Mick Kennedy 22 birthday
