Only 14 days earlier newly promoted Boro put 4 past Spurs at WHL in a league cup match, what a time to be a Boro fan, what we should have acheived back then

I think the thing for me is that we seemed for a while to be competing on level terms. Even during the Robson and McClaren years it felt as though we were punching above our weight and trespassing a bit. It never felt like that in Big Jack's days. Or it might be because I was 9 yrs old and didn't really gave a clue
