Think we deserved a draw.

If one has gone 1-0 due to a stupid goal how would one obtain a draw? If one cannot score surely therefore they cannot complain at yet another poor loss.

We had 4 shots second half, 2 on target, Watford had one shot from a free kick in the last few minutes.
Get a grip, we didnt play badly tonight and have players to come in.

Wow, 2 shots on target. Creativity seriously lacking against a team with 17 players missing, they were pretty comfortable without being threatening.

Launching the ball forward, trying to win the knockdown/free kicks not successful tonight, nor was it pretty or look like getting a result. We might have players to come in but that’s utterly irrelevant as they did not play......

We did not play badly tonight against a team with a PL wage bill.
The window is nowhere near closed.
It wasn't brilliant but was far from terrible.

And hall effort from the corner and britts header from 5 yards
 
Nothing to choose between the sides for me. The set piece wins it.
Thought Britt was excellent and certainly better than their striker who had a couple of nice touches but didn't warrant MOTM.
Nothing on our bench to change the game unfortunately.
New keeper looked confident without having much to do.
Britt and Howson our best players.
Desperate for a couple of strikers and a bit of creativity. Lee Tomlin would be perfect...
 
Its not what players were missing, its more who is available. Watford reserves are a very good Championship side look at Ben Foster. He has played 8 times for England.

There strikers nice touhces were 35 yards from goal, utterly pointless praising that from your number 9

I agree with you that we score nothing like enough goals. I agree with you that because of this, if we go one nil down it becomes an uphill battle. However, I don't think that there was a great deal between the teams. (Admittedly Watford had a load of players unavailable (some through injury, and some probably wanting to leave)).
