These people

My 85 year old mother in law just said the exact same thing this morning.
She’s worried that public transport might be striking the same day she has to go to hospital for treatment, that might not go ahead if nurses are on strike too.
selfish auld qunt she is, she hates Tony Blair, so could probably be selfish auld tory qunt!
Does she vote Tory then, like you?

What or who is in this clique you speak of?
I can answer that. It's HarryVegas and WeeGord and Roofie. If they ever invite to you become a member don't do it mate. They make you do terrible, unspeakable things and they promise you a badge at the end of it all but you never get it. The clique is crap mate, and I say that as a junior member of it.

With a username like bumface do I want to know what kind of badge you receive? 😂

Yes. The point I was making was a more general one, that you use the same arguments as all the transparent Tory shills, click bait shock jocks, and trolls across social media and the likes of the Daily Mail and Talk Radio etc.

You have ignored all the counter arguments to the questions you raise, many of which have been dealt with over and over for months.
And you conveniently ignore any explanations or sensible counter points or arguments or answers that don’t fit your narrative that all strikers are selfish idiots.

Anyway, whether a troll, a shill, just some rubbish character or genuinely as stupid and ill-informed as you pretend to be, I’m pretty sure that calling everybody striking selfish idiots proves that you are just not a very nice person.
When you say conveniently ignore I’ve asked a few times about the impact of wage inflation- the examples you give show some rather decent percentage pay rises. What do you think that’s going to do to inflation. Companies giving these pay rises ain’t gonn do it out of their profits so it will just lead to increased prices. I’ve mentioned it at least three times and yoh ah e chose to conveniently ignore it.

Also it may make you feel better about yourself but it’s really not neccesaary to include name calling in all your posts to me!

If you’re still peddling the line that wage demands are the cause of the current inflation then you are either an idiot or a liar. Probably both.

So tell us the alternative for people on low wages who are already stretched on their budgets and are being offered wage rises significantly lower than inflation? How do they live?

Perhaps you'd like to justify your argument by detailing the way your own income has risen over the years, along with justifications and a plan to return all rises. And of course an apology for your own impacts upon inflation rates...

That’s the way your agenda chooses to frame it - I’m saying taht if you give people an average let’s say 10 percent pay rise what do yoh think that’s going to do to inflation.

I am an IT contractor and in actual fact in real terms I’m probably on less now than I was ten years ago, certainly when you take into account inflation.

The problem with Fabio and the rest of the left leaners is whilst their heart is in the right place it doesn’t take into account basic economics!
"Left leaners" - there`s another "label".

Explain to me as a clinical practitioner:

1. How has the value of my salary - which has fallen by over 25% in the last 10 years - benefited you, me and the country?

2. How much has my hard work for less money helped reduce Capitalism`s "deficit"?

3. Would the Health Service be better off if we carry on taking further pay cuts [which we are doing in real terms]?

4. What can I do to cover for 60,000 NHS unfilled vacancies - including qualified Nurses and other staff?

5. Are you satisfied that, to keep costs down in the NHS you accept lower quality care - operating with agency staff and unqualified carers?

6. Are you content that Nurses and other full time staff are reliant on Universal Credit and Food Banks to fill the hole left by poverty wages?

You're arguing with a troll mate. I've given him the benefit of the doubt in the past but this thread proves that he isn't worth it. He's just Cooper all over again.

It’s you who doesn’t understand economics.

If people get inflation matching pay rises it will only allow them to keep up with rising prices. Not buy more things. So minimal impact on inflation.
Hi Sherlock, again, where does the money come from to cover the cost of these pay rises? It will increase costs so who takes the hit? I expect the companies involved won’t want their profit margins impacted so they will likely increase prices.

Where has the money gone from my 25% pay cut over the last 10 years?
