These buggers are on their way and destroy hives of bees in a very short time. They rip off the bees wing muscles and feed them to their larvae. They have already got in to Europe form Asia and now just have to work out how to cross the channel.

I saw one of these a few years ago - I couldn’t believe the size of it - scary looking things!!!

Nasty big *******. But slow enough to give them a good bat if they come near you ... and you aren't too busy running away. And remember, only the females sting (males have a rounder bottom ... I reckon they could give a nip though).

One was nesting in the wall outside my hotel room in India, couple of years ago, nasty, nasty. They got the blitz crew in!

They certainly can give you a sting and the French say they can kill.

I got stung by one in Bordeaux on my wrist and my arm swelled up. Not sure about killing you though.

China is situated in Eastern Asia on the Western Pacific, with an area of 9.6 million square kilometres and 7 million managed bee colonies. It is the largest producer and exporter of bee products in the world. The Chinese economy is developing rapidly, and its beekeeping industry plays an important role in world trade.
From a publication 2015. Saw later copyrighted stuff on Google confirming Chinese domination of world honey market. Huawei!
