Please dont tell me you are advocating a player not making a tackle because it would have given the referee “a decision to make”. In that case you might as well not tackle at all. Its a daft thing to say.

Well no. The ref gave it so it was a penalty and thats a fact so with the greatest of respect, youre talking nonsense. If you mean it shouldn’t of been a penalty, i would disagree because had that happened at the other end we’d be going mad. Even if it wasnt, Saville’s given him a decision to make so again as much as I agree we were playing against 12 men today, to an extent we’ve got ourselves to blame. Yes the ref gave a corner initially bit considering what he did with Bola’s goal are you surprised he changed his mind?

Whetherr the referee gave a penalty or not doesn't make it a penalty or not. The rules dictate what's a penalty. If the referee gets the rules wrong and awads a penalty, it still isn't a penalty.

We didn't get what we deserved, we got nothing like what we deserved, as we deserved 3 points and we got none.

I didnt advocate he doesnt make a tackle. I said if he hadnt been dawdling or ball watching he wouldnt of had to lunge. If he doesnt lunge, theres no decision to make. Not really subjective or equivocal. Fact it is he was dawdling, he was ball watching when he should of been switched on and motoring to intercept the ball. I cam get some being miffed the decision went against us especially considering what happened with Bola. However you lunge in when you’re trying to make up ground you’re asking fir trouble regardless of what happened earlier in the game

Also kind of nonsense saying "It was not a penalty, that is a fact, not opinion"... when it's actually entirely opinion. Sadly the refs opinion was different.

I don't disagree that it was very soft though, and pretty horrible to take in the 97th minute.

Cuthbet with the benefit of the replay and the stills posted here it is not a penalty, Saville doesn't even touch their player. If you think it's a soft penalty explain to me the nature of the foul that happened?

By soft, I really meant that it was 'possible' for the ref to give it. Personally I don't think it should have been a penalty, IMO. Sadly the ref thought otherwise!

Saville‘s tackle is clearly perfectly timed.

Risky? Maybe.

A foul? Definitely not.

I'm pretty sure my last two posts have said it wasn't a penalty.
Saville did switch off and did have to lunge, there didn't need to be that risk introduced, but it wasn't a penalty in a month of sundays.

A penalty on Bolasie OR Bola goal given
Saville penalty NOT given , as he had no contact on the player , their player kicked him.
Wrong decisions could cost us promotion . Or may not .
