* The Unofficial "Official" Oxford v Boro [11/24] Match-Day Thread *

This is now where we need to show our credentials, can we pull our socks up and battle. It’s a real necessary skill in this league and probably the most obvious ingredient we lack I think

That was all our own doing, Clarke launched one out of play, then Borges launched one out of play, Clarke misread the header from the throw and gave them a corner.

A minute or 2 of sloppiness gave them momentum.

Disaster

Terrible defending and this sums us up

Too nicey nicey

Maddo is right, we just aren’t aggressive enough and now Oxford will be delighted, scored from a set piece and we’ve fell into the trap.
Rotherham all over again

We are so inconsistent it’s unreal, we have no chance of getting promoted with this setup in charge sadly.

No need for the keeper to turn it over the bar for the second corner and no need to head concede the first one either.

Needlessly conceded corner x2.

Poor header from the throw in and no need for Brynn to touch the ball over.

Poor defending from the corner too. Took them 22 minutes to have a touch in our box.

File under typical Boro.

At this level that really is very poor goalkeeping.

Don't worry, December has Leeds, Burnley and Millwall taking up 4 of the games.

Typical Boro has us getting 12 points from that lot.👍
