* The Unofficial "Official" Middlesbrough v Luton Town [11/24] Match-Day Thread *

I was away from internet access most of the day so only saw the score at half time. Was pleasantly surprised to see the final score and glad that we've finally handed out the drubbing that we've been threatening to do all season.
I shall watch the full match later safe in the knowledge that we won't blow it 😁👍
 
Changed phone provider today, and giffgaff's 5G just does not work in the stadium, so sadly I'll no longer be able to let people know what I think is a bad miss or not 😢

How often do you see a championship side win by eight or nine ?

I bet it's less than 1 in 1000 games , in fact I reckon you've never ever seen it.

Btw , they obviously do practice.. otherwise we wouldn't have won 5- 1

F*** me I’ve read some stupid stuff on here before but this takes the biscuit.
Scathing criticism because we only scored 5.

We’ve just won two on the bounce and scored 9 goals ya miserable crank.

You can force it on your network settings not to bother searching for 5g signals. I've been looking at the proper signal maps (measured , not the white lies the providers happy to give ) . You might be better locking it to 3g (giff gaff O2 and 4g at the stadium not great ) as you get to the stadium and until you leave the area,

No, I have. I saw the game against Sheff Wed.

I would have thought that after so many poor performances at home that Carrick would have wanted to take the chance to annihilate Luton. They were shocking. So, with the game won, he took the foot off the gas. As soon as Luton scored then Boro scored again.

With half of Luton's team on yellow cards and the players arguing amongst themselves, Boro could have scored eight or more.

But no.

In Carrick you trust.

I was at that game. At 7-0 Souness started 'showboating' somewhere between the halfway line and the edge of the Wednesday box. The bloke stood next to me screamed (without irony), "Get an effin' grip ya Scottish p***". .... nothing changes ....

In fairness it was the South Terrace. So this was considered getting behind the lads at the time.

So Carricks an idiot for not achieving a twice a century type of result and only winning 5-1?
He’s only got another 47 and a half years to achieve it, he’d better get a move on.
