The unofficial "Official" Coventry City v The Mighty Boro Matchday Thread. UTMB.

Boro one of the best attacking sides in the division? 40 goals
Only six teams have scored more.
Think what we could have done with a striker.

Grateful for small mercies. The passing is still poor, and at times rushed. Goodness knows how they'll react with an frustrated crowd baying at them. That said, well done for knicking three points. UTB

Man City could not play decent football on that disgrace of a pitch. Brilliant 3 points but was purgatory to watch.

Horrible performance. Ugly win. Its clear we wont make the play offs now but it would be good to see some entertaining football in the remaining games.

I think what we saw the last week is that this squad has game changers in it. Today was the strongest bench we have had in a very long time, it's just the bloody strikers that's the issue. Plenty of players that are solid, others that can dominate a game, and others that can come on and change it. We just need that powerful physical threat up top

Poor performance tonight in tough conditions, but we've had decent results lately, Bristol City aside.

Surely less clear that we won't make the play-offs than before kick-off.

Sav has no right foot, he didn't fancy it with Bolasie taking the defender left, the shot opened up on the right. We need to start to make sure we scout players properly that they don't have a kicking foot and a standing foot, but can actually use both!
What like Ravanelli you mean.

I think you've got Britt down to a tea there.
Oh this was much more fun when at least some of our fans persisted on defending Britt, gave me someone to argue with. It'll become like the Scott McDonald situation, as soon as he has left, and he scores 2 goals in a month, some fans will revert to saying we didn't play to his strengths (whatever they are).

Four years with 4/5 different Managers - numerous strike partners / positions / formations/ etc and hes still "average".
Hes had his opportunities [probably a lot more than most] and hes still "average".
Its his football ability Im talking about, not insulting him as a person.
Hes just not up to the job in the Championship.
Certainly not for 15M brick.
Cheers.
