Akpom how long has he got left on his contract?

Forget strikers from Coventry and Holland. He’s playing ever so well at the moment.

Two very average teams and it wasn't a 3-1 game but still over the moon.

Certainly see an improvement and after the result that's the main thing.

I genuinely think a fresh manager will lift some of them and bring them on.

Just need a bit consistency now and that'll breed confidence. Feeling a lot better than this time last week!!!!

It really couldn'
Good three points but could have gone either way - two deflected goals the difference and one from a very dubious free kick. 3-1 very flattering.
tt really couldn't. There goals was a wicked deflection, and I think Steffan made 1 good save and the rest was business as usual for a keeper.

They never looked like winning, despite some of the comments on here.

Good result. Three takeaways from me on that:

Hackney looks comfortable at this level every time he plays. He has to stay in the side.

An awful lot of our problems are confidence, by and large we've got players who can perform at a higher level than they have been. Hopefully this result is the first step towards that happening.

Giles and McGree's shortcomings aren't a massive problem until you combine them. One or the other on the left hand side, but both is a recipe for disaster. Bullet dodged tonight.

How did Wilder overlook Hackney - he’s looking like a bit of a find
Yeah Wilder is being made to look even more of a mug with every game Hackney plays. He’s not perfect by any means but given the obvious struggles we had in midfield at the start of the season it is ridiculous that he ignored him.

Clearly just him spitting his dummy out because Gibson wouldn’t give him any more money to waste.
