Last Time Out - Blackburn

Mackems 2 Rovers 1

[Boxing Day]

Making his first start for four months - Stewart scored for both sides in a mood of Christmas generousity.
Having scored an OG on 19th minute, he converted a penna on the 22nd. Simms netted the winner for the deck-chairs in injury time [drat!].

Sunlun goalkeeper Anthony Patterson - [On loan to Notts County at the start of the season] made some crucial saves.
Blackburn`s inconsistency continues.
Lets hope they get a good 1-0 stuffing from Michael Carrick`s Boro tonight!

Crooks in I guess for the physical side after we were somewhat steamrolled in our last away game at Burnley. I still have reservations about us matching the most physical teams in this division especially away from home.

Big game for Crooks playing in that right wing role I presume. Coming in at the back post from Giles's crosses could be a recipe for goals.

Keep it tight for 60 mins then Watmore and Jones's pace coming on against tired defenders will be interesting.
