Better squad? Very subjective. It is largely made up of those who have not delivered - especially in the second half of the season. So no I don’t recognise this squad as being better. Apparently the Bristol lad has a number of options. Doubt we will get him- and since he scored against us he hasn’t scored.

we didn't really have players in those positions, so something is better than nothing. I know a lot of them weren't quite up to speed but we did improve our squad in January imo.

Apparently Stoke have a player on £70k/week and desperately need to cut the wage bill...Reckon it could be Vokes or Allen

I said to my mate last week , did you see Dean Windass commenting on who Boro will sign?
I then said , I bet his lad is coming to us , and low and behold , we are now linked.
Newy on the ball again , wouldn't be against him , Powell my 1st choice , but Windass would be fine .

We were in for him before and he's done well at Sheff Wed despite them being in a spot of bother.

I bet Nick Powell will be on a decent wedge at Stoke.. we'll just have to wait and see.

Reports suggest £15,000 per week - £16,500 per week , could that be in our range ?
Howson on £25,000 per week so I would hope so.

I doubt Howson is still on £25k a week. That's prem money for us. I'd say we're looking at £10k a week max and that would be for the big hitters.. like a one off. (maybe someone like Bolasie)
