That’s the problem with VAR. Unless they believe they thought the ref had made an obvious mistake they would never have asked the ref to look at it again and they should have done. That’s why I feel the ref should have paid respect to the occasion.I disgaree. The ref has to referee as he sees it. Trying to second guess via VAR changes the game even more.
The ref gives a red as from his position he hasn't seen exactly how the contact was made. The studs up were away from the player and the swing of the leading leg was never towards the player he collided with. Not dangerous in my opinion. VAR should have asked the ref to look. They've made a decision that they're not supposed to make.

It was a pretty thick comment by him. If the Barnsley manager left early , it couldn’t have been because he thought that Wednesday were not going to qualify. There were two teams playing and one of them was going to get to the final.
