The republicanism thread.

Everybody already votes for the party, regardless of which candidate is representing it.
That’s not true though as look at dr that stand as independents.

Yes many do but people vote for a myriad of reasons reducing it to a a single entity choice with no bearing on who you are electing I think is dangerous.

Sad to see that in a coffin party of 10 soldiers they were all white.
Do you know the protocol for those soldiers been chosen?

I'm assuming it's similar to the guards who stood watch over the coffin but not exactly the same. Those guards had to have done 22 years of service and reach warrant officer rank.

You really have no choice. I remember voting for one of Blair's Babes when I lived in Aberdeen. Thick as mince. I went to one of her clinics and she had no concept of how the oil industry uses contractors.

More terrible Pms get appointed or voted in sadly. That’s the nature of our electoral system. We have had 4 in a row now. We won’t have a terrible king because he won’t have enough power to make your life a misery.
You say that but, they can block any law they want and use that to manipulate whatever they want.

Im not sure they have done anything which has been an affront as much as laws passed by elected politicians. The really last bad king was probably George IV

Is it the same the same protocol that exempts the palace from race and discrimination laws?

Not gonna lie, the idea that 4 billion people watched today has cracked me up. I think I’d struggle to believe a billion watched but 4 billion is outrageous 😂
I think that what has happened here is that 3.5 billion of those people turned the telly on and immediately turned it off and then turned
it back on an hour later and saw that it was still on only to turn it off again....... ad infinitum. ;)
That would make more sense :D
