The push on Conway?

I can't find a mention of it anywhere on here, but a few minutes before the red card, we had an attack where Conway looked to have been clearly pushed off the ball in the penalty box? We were all screaming for a penalty in the South Stand but we may be slightly biased, haven't seen a replay but wondered if anyone had a decent view of it?

No, it was definitely before. He seemed determined not to give a free kick for anything at the outset then gave yellow cards for the first four fouls. Hackney's two yellows were for the first two free kicks he gave.
The ref was a shythouse! He bottled the big decisions when it came to Coventry.. but totally went to town on Hackney.

The linesman was having a great time after their goal. Never seen that before!

Shame he missed an offside and a hand ball.

Is it only Boro that don’t get ‘homer’ refs? It seems unlikely. Maybe Hackney was a bit reckless and maybe I’ve seen Boro lads dive and get penalties and free kicks. That’s football.

Can’t find the clip now, but he did get a slight push but not enough to go down and certainly not for a red card

what has been going on for well over a year?
The poor home form, the sloppiness, the stupid mistakes, the wastefulness in front of goal, the like-for-like subs that don’t seem to achieve anything to our own benefit, the lack of goals. We’ve scored 3 goals at home in open play this season, only one in the first half. It’s November. We look laboured, slow, lacking in confidence and belief, we have no real leaders in the team. There’s loads of stuff you could pick out. You can start last August and work your way to tonight.

Coburn <> Conway

January we brought in Thomas, Azaz & Ayling from a worse position imo

The golden season.. we only brought in Barlaser, Archer and Ramsey in January from a dreadful start.

I remember it well, but I don't recall it being in the box. Possible last man foul etc, but I'm sure it wasn't a penalty shout.

I had a pretty decent view of it in the East stand it was outside the penalty box and the ball held up rather than ran on and I thought Conway tried to buy a foul. It was one of the few decisions the ref got right today, I can’t remember a worse refereeing performance in the last 10 years.

Same as his attempt for the last man foul earlier, felt the tiniest bit of contact barely an brush and threw himself to the floor. Needs to stop diving and crack on with the game.

Nah, it wasn’t that incident. I know which one you’re both talking about, it was when Conway’s first touch had taken him wide.
This was a completely different one, which was in the box.
