After a life of supporting Boro (season ticket holder, travelled the country, travelled Europe, cried as a kid when Wolves beat us in the fa cup 6th round, cried as a young man when we were promoted at Stamford Bridge etc) I must admit I'm very much lapsed these days, visiting with my lad occasionally, but all ways following results, progress and such...I suppose life got in the way.
What a dreadful 2 years. Covid and now the tragedy of Ukraine, which preys on my mind a lot (on a strictly personal note, I have a number of friends in Moscow who are simply devastated at their governments actions)
For 120 minutes last night I was taken to another place, and at the end was filled with unbridled joy and pride
Football is, and in particular Boro are, wonderful
