The play offs. Who’s your tip?

They way Bournemouth are playing, Woody has a chance. If they don’t go up is there some financial turmoil ahead?

Who wouldn’t want Barnsley to do it? If they don’t can they repeat next season without Dike?

Brentford can score goals for fun. Can they. Come back from play off heart ache, they do have a very poor record in the play offs.

and Swansea always seem to be involved in some last minute drama. Also parachute payments are up. They need to go up too

Not Swansea as I'm still raw about that game and will be for a long time.
Not Brentford because they seem to be the latest holders of the "plucky Bournemouth" title and it rubs me the wrong way.
Not Barnsley because they're just grim. Don't ask me to explain that as I probably can't, but I stick by it nonetheless.
So Bournemouth it is.

Brentford hopefully. They are far too good of a team to not have a shot at the premier league next season. Don't want Swansea for reasons mentioned by others, Bournemouth? Nope, haven't liked them for years. Barnsley? A waste of promotion spot if we're honest, they would by vying with Norwich to see who can finish in the bottom 3 the quickest.

So yes, I'm backing Brentford.

Being a softie on this one:
Swansea are also-ran`s.
Brentford deserve it after years of trying but I fear they will miss out.
Barnsley wont last 5 minutes if they get a sniff of the Premiership - I cant see them getting over the line.
Bournemouth, for Woody`s sake, are my prediction. There is no doubt he has done a sterling job with a group of players suffering the shock of relegation after the departure of a history-making, well - established, cherries icon.

Bournemouth will still get more parachute payment if they miss out. So don't why the might have financial turmoil yet.

You’re right of course, I was just going for some tabloid hyperbole. Also they sold Ake for £40m And Newcastle took the forward who’s name escapes me for £20m

I think the payments drop though, but either way from their point of view the sooner they get promoted the better.

Barnsley have done brilliantly this season, but I don't really want them to win the play-offs. They probably shouldn't even have been in the Championship this season, Wigan should! Fair play to them though. Injury time goal on the last day of last season to stay up wasn't it, and now in the play-offs!

I don't want Swansea to go up.... so I guess Bournemouth or Brentford. If Bournemouth go up then all three who came down will have gone back up, so for the sake of sharing the spoils I guess it would be better if Brentford do.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Brentford have had 10 previous play off campaigns, and not won a single one. They've been knocking on the door for a while, so I hope they go on and do it.

Anyone but Swansea. Barnsley as the "underdog", Bmuff for the Woody connection, Brentford not bothered unless they are playing the "classy" Swans.

Happy for any other than Swansea after this season.

Would love to see Barnsley do it. Would be a great story and from where they were in Sept/Oct.

If Brentford don't do it this season, will they ever do it? They're the 'nearly team' every season now.
