* The Original Unofficial "Official" Boro v Luton Match-Day Thread *

I'll take the positives.
We played some great football with a changed team (y)
We have a revenge mission after being cheated 😠
Less chance of playing Sunderland in the playoffs :cautious:

I'm not overly disappointed with getting beat there tonight, we played our second string and give them a game. It is the penalty that kind of hurts more - It's not the refs fault but Morrison knows what he did.

Played ok. Our passing was good. Just lacked a bit of Chuba magic in their box. Thought Bola was pretty bad though. Beaten by a bit of cheating. It happens.

Can people knock it off with the "it doesn't matter lads" patter. It's irrelevant, people are wound up about losing to literal cheating and incompetent refereeing.

Yeah, let’s get wound up about an irrelevant result instead and bring some negativity into play.

We battered them with a second string side and they won through cheating. But IT DOESNT MATTER. What matters is when we go into those playoffs.

Look at the positives, stop moaning.

Well I'm actually pretty positive.

It's never nice to lose a game, but I'm more worried about our semi-final opponents than I am these. For starters I'd put in a report RE Morris' dive. If he gets a ban during the playoffs that's their biggest threat they're without.

We're playing on a Big pitch that's to our strengths, with our first 11 and VAR so they'll find it hard to cheat. Without cheating that's their major strength gone and they're just a bunch of cloggers without any hope.

The likes of a 4 or 5-nil win in the final wouldn't surprise me tbh and pulling their pants down in as humiliating a fashion as possible under the arch should be a great way to sign off.👍
We just have to A) Get there and B) Hope Luton beat whoever they have in the semis as we'll absolutely murder them.
