The Open Golf.

know very little about golf but ... very impressed with the 'Mericans today .... not their typical course and climate, but 4 out of top 6 going into the last round.

.... to misquote Jimmy Connors re: Wimbledon, "It's the best golf tournament in the world. But why don't you play it in the summer?"

I think he is. We are all born in Northallerton (or were) round here as there is no hospital in Bedale. He lives in a village over this way, went to Bedale school and initially played his golf at Bedale. He’s now the pro attached to Romanby and plays up there regular with some friends of mine.

I understand he’s a really good lad.

I hope he manages to hold on today and produce a winning round!!
