The NFL is BACK

I expected the Buffalo win, but I'm a bit surprised by the margin.

I'm a nominal Colts fan, though they never actually seem to be a featured match in the UK.
I did get drawn in by the Bengals rags to riches story last season. Their status as a bunch of unfashionable ne'er do wells reminded me of a football club I know, plus its easier to follow a team who is actually on the box.

Watched the game this afternoon. Stafford is my fantasy football qb. Had an absolute stinker. Bills d stomped all over the rams O. Bills will take some stopping this season.

Jets fan. All I want is for some meaningful games in the stretch - getting very tiring looking forward to next year by Halloween.

I am, however, a perennial optimist. And I think it'll be a winning season.

Would not be surprised to see the Pats (finally) struggle now McDaniel has left. Patricia isn't an offensive coordinator.
A Jets fan and a boro fan? You must love a miserable weekend. 😅

I just hope the bears show some sort of improvement. 1985 feels like a long time ago.
Its undoubtedly a season of transition for us Bears but after a hat-trick of pre-season wins for the first time since 1994 maybe the new coach is moving us in the right direction at last. I just want to see Justin Fields firmly establish himself as QB and hopeful we can surprise a few.

Think the eagles have a good chance this year. It all depends on Jalen Hurts. He now has the weapons and arguably the best o line in the league. If he can’t win this year he never will.

I lived in Buffalo for several years in the early 90's when the Bills 3 times were genuine Super Bowl contenders, and did not quite make it. The Company I worked for had seats in a box and I was lucky enought to get tickets for a few of the games, and to take my sons with me. Everybody in Buffalo it seemed was passionate about the team. On Monday mornings the entire office stafff talked nothing but the game the day before, and that included the women. I no longer live there but can only imagine the renewed passion after the long years in the doldrums. It matters so much to the community. I really hope that this year they will win the Super Bowl and put the jinx to rest.

Would like to see the bills finally get that monkey off their back and win their first Super Bowl. (If the eagles aren’t in it). It’s just nice seeing someone other than Brady and Belichick winning it to be honest.

Can’t wait for next week now ( live again on MNF)

But todays matchups should be good as well. As rest of the league start their own seasons.

Despite kickoff being 6 hrs away, Washington are pretty much out of the playoff picture......ah well, there's always next season.
Dallas, despite all their fans and media's proclamation "this is our year" are expected to join them at approximately 18-10 UK time.

NFC East......🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Dallas are the Newcastle United of the NFL. They think that because they are big team they deserve to be winning the super bowl every year.

Looking forward to it all starting. It'll be redzone until 9.30 then I'll be watching us, Packers, v Minnesota.

All that's left to do is tweak my Fantasy football teams.

For any Bears fans....it's gonna be VERY wet today so could hamper the aerial game (not that the Bears have much going for them with their WRs). Expect Mooney to be quiet and Montgomery to be given a lot of reps. (that map might not look much, but that's a very large piece of real estate in that map!)

I’ve just seen the Soldier Field pitch, you can barely see the lines.

Going well for the Dolphins.

Hill looks a great addition, just get Tua's arm going, and we'll maybe make into the play offs!
