The new union law

The right to strike should be everybody’s right Will labour put it in their manifesto to abolish this law as it is an absolute disgrace. We are heading down a terrible path.
Labour has just commenced the process of consultation on its GE manifesto. Let's hope so.

Many people sit and watch these industrial disputes without really knowing or caring about whats going on. If it doesn't affect you then its probably easy to not have any strong feelings but my opinion is that where strong unions like the RMT lead then the rest of society follows.

If a strong union is beaten down then this emboldens employers even more to squeeze the rights of employees and this is why the working classes should be on the side of the unions in the current disputes.

If its affecting them now, it'll be you next.

and yet the working class people of Middlesbrough voted them in. It still beggars belief
Many people in boro will not support the strikes, especially teachers where they've cost them money or inconvenience in childcare.

I've seen many angry rant about inconsiderate teachers on Facebook and debated with a few friends.

I think majority of people will but plenty will moan.

And say because they're getting more pay than they are they should be thankful of what they get etc, which is ludicrous

he has just got my vote yes I am a swing voter
At this point it doesn't matter how people voted previously. This law is who the Tories are. If its the clincher for you then great.

Don't forget it at the GE, because the likes of the daily Heil will be going all out to try and make you do just that nearer the time.

The right wing media are great at throwing up a load of chaff when it comes to election time, it will be all culture war crap, old pics of starmer not wearing a poppy when he popped out for some milk and rubbish like that.

Everyone needs to remember the key issues and just how abysmal the last 13 years or so have been under the tories.
