I understand why they're doing it to a certain degree, but it strikes me as too much, too soon.

The FA, Premier League, EFL, PFA and LMA have agreed to introduce the guidelines to address the risk of brain injuries; the new guidelines will not affect the rules of the game, but will be centred on how heading is performed in training sessions

That is really good news. It really validates the campaigning of the Gates family and McQueen family and also that of Nobby Stiles - all closely connected with Boro. Really good to hear positive action is being taken at all levels of the game while more study and research is undertaken.
Remember what Boro's Bill Gates wife said, Dr Judith Gates that Bill developed migraines from training continually heading a ball and it was eventually one of the reasons he quit so early from football.
Really good to hear the FA taking such positive action across the board.
