This is the problem though isn't it. You don't see Premier league players flying in with dangerous 2 footers (or very rarely) but it's common in the junior game or Sunday league. Players need proper protectionI think if I didn’t wear proper shin pads when I played I’d have no legs left, the amount of kicks in Sunday league particularly when your faster than the other player.
I guess it’s different in the professional game especially at the top as players have more protection.
