Self titled album released and I got to say it's absolutely magnificent. But different to their early stuff but it is easily their best to date, tremendous. 👍🏻

Used to love ATDD and listened to a lot of Mars Volta long time ago ..

Was not aware they had put a new record out, will have to check it out ... Confident it will be a cracker. I loved it when they had Tomas Pridgen on drums, not sure if he will still be in the band these days but hope he plays on the new stuff too.

This is a blast from the past. Had no idea about a new album though. Will definitely give it a go.

Take or leave a lot of their stuff but odd tunes are great. See the new album is all fairly short tracks so might give it a listen.

Seen them live a few times and last time was awful, so I stopped being interested. Might give the new album a listen.

The worst gig I ever went to was one of theirs back in the early noughties at Manchester Academy. At one point all the lights were turned off, the guitarist laid on his back and played a guitar solo for, what felt like, 10 -15 minutes. Not one other person needed to be in that room and he'll have still had the time of his life.

Not listened to a note of theirs since but I'm intrigued to know how they've evolved so will give it a listen (y)

I was at that gig, wonderfully self indulgent stuff.
