I watch this every week but lately had become quite sterile with too much politics and heavy left leaning agenda.

tonight they have practically scrapped the politics and it’s been the best show in ages

Evening ST had few beers and wines... am I missing something o_O

Not sure I can recall it ever being anything different. It’s always been a heavily left leaning political satire show.

If you are Brexit supporting Conservative I’m sure you’d stay well clear.

I wouldn't say left leaning, more centrist to be honest, they'd love someone like Starmer for example. Obviously with the disability element of it they are leftist in their critique of how the govt have dealt with disability cuts, but they were quite horrid at times in abuse of Corbyn.

It was better last night as the guests didn't take over. Some of the regular guests annoy me...

we got tickets a few years ago to be in the audience during filming. tbh I'd never seen the show. an interesting experience, altho I hate being told to happy-clap & whoop - not my thing. I was sat right behind the main bloke (who's name escapes me!) and during an ad-break the director pointed me out as a look alike - the main bloke said I was old enough to be his dad. cheeky git.

Sure I read that Widdicombe is a Liberal Democrat, I guess it shows we all have our own political fulcrum and to me the Last Leg has a centralist, Social democratic anti-Government narrative.

Was this at the south bank or TV centre? I've been to filming at both. I really like seeing the behind the scenes actions

Yeah the first time I went I'd never really seen the show. Didn't realise it was live. Pretty rare these days to not even have a slight delay for editing.

If you ever go again: take a coat. The TV centre studio has led lights so no heat. Damn place is freezing.
