The Killers- Parking

Apparently no parking at the stadium and the official recommendation is to park in town. I imagine that could be a nightmare.
Normally park in the Readman steel yard on match days but understand that’s not going to be available.
Any suggestions?

The Zetland multi-story near the Train Station might be the best option, but as you mention it will be packed as well.

I've parked the other side of Durham Street a few times this season, Vulcan Street/North Street area. Easy getting away from there too but I'm north of the river.

My daughter has a couple of spare seat tickets
Not to sure if you can still buy tickets mind

Travel and parking might be a pain but - wow, you are in for a treat
Just go with the flow and enjoy yourselves

What will be worse?

Driving out of town after the concert or getting a taxi?
Do not rely on a taxi!!! We went to the take that concert...loads of taxi firms cancelled pre booked taxis for after the gig in the town centre cos traffic so busy. The queues for taxis was horrific. When we finally managed to flag one down they wanted £20 to take us to norton...ended up walking all the way up to aldi and ringing my dad!!

Us dads come in really handy sometimes 😉.

I'm getting dropped off early for the fans village. Hopefully Blaggamuffin has secured four good acts. I know he had some belters lined up but Health & Safety quashed his initial plans.

I'm getting picked up in Doggy afterwards. I think the market place will have a big taxi rank.

How many tickets are there, will it be that much worse than a home game? I'm walking down anyway in case it's chaos.

I thought this, even at the height of sell outs I don't really remember it being carnage to the degree that it sounds like the Take That concert was.
