The ignore button dilemma

I noticed that as well dood Infact I think he even gave an opinion on something and not just a line insult to a poster.

Not surebits about changing your view. I can't imagine anyone on here changing my views on certain things. It doesn't mean you can't learn things from a discussion even with two strongly opposing views. Sometimes you push someone's beliefs and to defend them they come up with something you never knew.

Only person I’ve ignored so far is hopeless. I’m not going to block people who I disagree with, just the ones who bring nothing to the forum. Not many of the trolls seem to be over here yet though.
 
Who is 'hopeless? Is that his actual username?

I'm afraid I tend not to really take much notice/track of individual posters except during a thread, I just respond to the posts.

I'm amazed how some of you seem to easily spot when someone has a new username.
 
He doesn't bother me as such, he just wastes space on the screen because he never says anything of worth. Like I don't think he's ever gave an opinion on anything.
 
Well, I'm confused. He's only posted 5 times on here and all of them seem pretty reasonable.
 
I think hopesoboro's overall message is just to remind people that they are supposed to support the club, and don't always know better than the players/manager/stewards/staff/owner/tea lady etc. I can see his point TBH, sometimes people do need reminding. He's harmless imho.

As I said earlier, the threat of being ignored should be enough to make people think twice about how they post. I'm sure there's a lot more to hopeso than just one word insults whenever anyone has the temerity to have any issue with the club.
