The high jump

What happened at the end just then. Sounded like they tossed a coin for first/second????

It was nice scenes but doesn’t it kind of defeat the purpose of being the winner?

not to diminish the overall achievement but in the back of your mind wouldn’t you know you didn’t really win outright?

maybe I’m looking at it the wrong way, I don’t know.

Wish we could have shared the trophy at the Euros.
We didnt both score exactly the same though. Thems the rules in the high jump, footy is different

Not sure I agree with the rules BTW, but it certainly encapsulated the Olympic spirit IMO

We did.
1 goal each, so it was decided by a shootout.

But I'm joking, I think it's daft to share a medal and I'm not a fan of that being an option.

There have been 11 double gold awards in the last three Olympics

Really? I've never heard of it before.

If there are any ties I'd make them cage fight to decide. Don't tell me that wouldn't be popular.
Apologies - they were ties for medals. The 100m women's freestyle was a gold tie at the last Olympics.
