The Globe

You are only jealous that I can flit from one board to the other and wasn't run out of town.
I'm jealous that you can fit comfortably into a board of racists, idiots, Tories and people who just recycle insults for years and years instead of having rational conversations because that's all they are capable of?

You do say some stupid things from time to time but that's another level of dumb

Stop with your silly comments, you are derailing the thread. If you want to continue this, start a new thread or PM me.

Apologies to anyone who is having to read this crap.

Suggestion to both of you really - put each other on ignore?
I’m serious btw - this can’t be doing either of you any good.

Good idea, I don't really listen to his BS after he started on the other place. Only problem is he's jumped on my posts in the past with the petty personal stuff, and if I ignore he'll get away with his nasty little comments

The Globe is a great venue. Off the top of my head I have seen Steve Hackett, Marti Pellow, James Morrison, Tubular Bells, The Bootleg Beatles, Mike + The Mechanics, the musical Six and latterly Robert Plant there. All good or very good shows in my opinion; I was also on stage this time last year for the Beatles set being sung by local choirs; backstage is phenomenal and a real eye opener. (So was the size of Fischer’s dressing room, but that’s another story…)

I’m really looking forward to Jason Isbell on Sunday; he’s a brilliant live act.

We are soooo lucky to have The Globe. I’ll continue to go to as many shows as possible there.

Taking my first trip there in a few weeks. Can’t wait to see it

I enjoyed it mate, did you?
The girl singer was a real bundle of fun and energy. Just goes to show what you can achieve when you’re on the fiddle 😀
I thought the whole concert was fantastic, female singer was great and they got balance just right between the with and without singers. I was at libertines the night before and feel grateful that we have a venue that is attracting some great performers.
Looking forward to Jason Isbel on Sunday and Shed 7 a couple of weeks later.
