The FA v Marc Bola

A complete and utter waste of time and a laughing stock really.

The only precedent I hope it sets is that people realise social media isn't for minors. If these snakes are going to "lex mitior" grown up punishments against kids, get them off the networks now.

What utter nonsense.

The quasi-legal system the FA seem to have created seems to be more about 'making it up as they go along', as it does about application of the rules.

The best and most robust laws are those which are simple in application and stand the test of time. This seems to do neither.

They'll disappear up their own arses before too much longer.

What I hate about this is that people have served prison sentences for major crimes and still been welcomed back into the game as if nothing's happened.
Investigating what someone tweeted 10 years ago while they were under 16 is irrelevant in comparison and is not in the interests of the game in my opinion.

They still turn a blind eye to acts of violence on the pitch look at Austin’s disgraceful headbut on hall earlier in the season, they deemed that not worth investigating.

Ridiculous, especially in the unpunished racist, sexist, homophobic, world of adult politics where you can unashamedly and disgustingly refer to muslim women as letterboxes, black people as piccaninnies and gay men as tank topped bumboys and still become Prime Minister. I despair.

14 years old. This is F***ing ridiculous. As a person who has had to deal with the behavior of 14 year olds for the last 25 years, I'm sorry but even the most mature 14 year old thinks and acts differently to even an 18 year old.

Toral waste of time.

But a pat on the cheek is worth a 3 game ban plus 1 for a frivolous appeal.
