Real characters people with flaws and emotions you can relate to.
Great stories that are delivered with excellent actors.

Probably my favourite TV series of recent years. Amazingly good special effects considering the first three series were made for SciFi channel.

I've since read the books (which the TV series adheres too pretty closely) the last of the books is due next year I believe (compare and contrast with the Game of Thrones books!)

The first novel Leviathan Wakes 2011
And as you rightly said the next and from the title possibly the last Leviathan Falls the last next year.
 
It’s one of my current favourite shows on tv. Excellent stories and production values that wouldn’t be out of place in a big budget movie. Love how every season feels different even if it has the same underlying story and characters.

I’m still annoyed about Ashford, he’s one character I really liked and didn’t want to die. He was shady and a rogue but ultimately made the right decisions for the greater good and sacrificed everything for it including the cause he had always fought for and his life.
 
Excellent sci-fi series. You do wonder why the Mandalorian won so many awards when it's not a patch on this - but then I've never liked Star Wars. I watched til the end of series 3 when I thought it was getting a bit predictable and there were a couple of silly dud episodes. It sounds like series 4 may have been worth watching so I'll have a look.
 
The Expanse is outstanding.

I'm so impressed with the scientific accuracy and the plausibility of the vision of the future. Great characters too, the best one being gravity itself (effectively).

The Game Of Thrones of Sci-fi, for me.
 
I'm a Sci fi nerd when it comes to TV and films.

Clearly I'm missing out on something? Do they have all the series on amazon? I need a 'new' series to full on binge👍

All episodes on Amazon Prime.
Battlestar Galactica . Doing about 5 episodes a week hope iPlayer keeps it on long enough for me to get through it.
 
Great news, nice way to end the year after a series of duds.

Shame about Ashford as another poster said earlier.

Honestly, you'll love it. I was hooked after the first episode of series one.

Also while you are on Prime check out "The Boys" Superheroes as you've never thought about them before, second series just finished so you can binge the lot. Series three has been given the go ahead.
 
Boys is class👍...... Apparently its toned down from the graphic novels. It's hard to believe😂

Just watched the original Utopia on amazon(not watched the new remake) . Its good and suprised I missed it first time round.

I wasn't so much hooked after the first episode, but intrigued/impressed enough to keep going. Very glad I did.

I must get round to series 2 of The Boys. That hooked me straight away when he was left holding...well, you know what.
