Well I have heard pretty much the same story from the EU's highest ranked fella .... but as he has told us before, this has been going on for a while. It's how GS comes to employ some of the DSA's finest former military folks. Others have retired.

David D (squirrel) is still worth following closely btw. His insight into the US military is eye opening at times.
 
You may have seen footage of the wreckage from 2 C130s and blackhawks in Iran. I asked if the missing airman search was cover for a botched landing.

GS confirms...

And then tried to call the US forces to tell them that they had the dude. And they in turn didn't pick up the phone, so we had to call US and tell them.
And just for good measure the Peshmerga took the pilot to Café Nyköping in Erbil for coffee and kanelbulle, and handed him over there to the americans.

He also explained why Iran and the US have both kept quiet about the earlier botched chopper drop, resulting in 170 lost Delta force paras.

This is one of the most bizarre "stories" (no reason not to believe GS) out there at present. Can't wait to find out what the chuff has happened.

And how does the DSA cover up losing 170 special forces operatives? Surely some family somewhere will be asking "ummm, haven't heard off our kid for a couple of months....."

They are classed as MIA according to GS.

I asked this morning why we hadn't seen the Iranians making capital out of it and, he says that they wold have to admit to having a nuclear programme that had yielded Tritium (no, me neither).

So, to quote...

Incredible none of the families - or extended families - have gone on social media/TV questioning what's going on. In this day and age where nothing is secret, this is mental.

Do you know whether they are KIAs or captured? 170 special forces lost, must be the biggest "commando" f*ck up in the history of warfare.

It wouldn't be so unusual for special forces to be out of contact with friends and families for protracted periods.

That's pretty much how GS spoke about it.
And he said that the comms that they were listening into suggested 100% fatalities.

As it was a secret mission, behind enemy lines, I don't know how that works with the US special forces ... whether they ever tacitly acknowledge failures, at least during an ongoing conflict.
It obviously flies directly in the face of all Hogsbreath's chest beating about having invincible forces. So I doubt he, nor Trump, are mad keen to acknowledge it.

But I understand the scepticism totally.

The DSA are absolutely shyte at covering up things, so for them to keep schtum for a few weeks over this..... with mostly every media outlet desperate for the big story to start the ball rolling to get rid of Trump.....

Wonder if it is the fact it's Delta Force not Marines or Airborne then, as pointed out, going off radar for a few months isn't unusual.

I remember the "whoooohhh" when the UK lost a load of SAS / high ranking intelligence fellas in the Chinook crash. This makes that tragedy look like a .....bone spur.

I saw a large jet flying at high altitude over my house today, with a much smaller plane ahead ... appearing to be an escort. No AIS turned on, so invisible on Flightradar, but following the usual North America flightpath. So I asked GS.
