From a Thai perspective, I don't think Russia or China are a big problem.
As far as I've read, Xi Jinping pays special attention to economy and technology.
And many Thais believe that Russia is not strong enough to take over Ukraine.
In the past, when I was a child, I was afraid that the Khmer or Vietnamese would invade Thailand.
But now Vietnam is focusing on developing its economy and they are also crazy about sports, especially football. Cambodia is even worse, they still have to come to Thailand to find work. There are some who cause a little trouble at the border.
So I don't think there will be a world war or anything like that. Nowadays, economy is quite important. I think we should look at food and living first. I think most Russians think this way. Just look at Phuket, it's full of Russians.
